For many Americans going to the dentist is a frightful event, even though dentistry
has changed so much in the past years. A visit to the dentist can now be relaxing
and fun. Unfortunately, this is not enough for the approximately 145 million people
who avoid the dentist due to fear.
Dentistry is very high tech today with all sorts of gadgets that get the job done
better and quicker, but now with sedation dentistry can bridge the gap between technology
and comfort.
-
Q. How does sedation dentistry work?
A. You are given a small pill to take an hour prior to your dental appointment.
Your companion will accompany you to the office. By the time you arrive you will

room, covered with a thick, warm blanket and placed on a monitor to watch your vital
signs. After you are comfortable, our experienced clinical team will take care of
your dental needs. When your treatment is completed your companion will return you
home to finish your comfortable, relaxing day.
